no, unfortunately it is not the NAP. he simply no longer has the option of laundry. If you click on the laundry basket you have the option to put them in the washing machine, but in the washing machine you only have the option to take them out and put them in the dryer or put them down. - I have the same issue in my save. I put laundry in as dirty, then once it it immediately says clean, move to dryer. When I move it to the dryer, it says it’s dirty again ?
- susanleona5 years agoSeasoned AceThe breakdowns are constant - suppose upgrading would help but no time! Then there's those times when it just won't work right.
- Sharooonia5 years agoSeasoned AceMy washing machines and dryers keep breaking beyond repair like I keep having to replace them. It's highly annoying.

The trick is to no allow the clothes to remain in the dryer too long. Also, if the dryer breaks, that causes the once clean clothes to be dirty, too. Yikes."Sharonia;c-17693045" wrote:

I learned there was no use in upgrading the dryer. Just as soon as I did that it broke down more rapidly. :open_mouth: What is up with that? - Sharooonia5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Yeah I've noticed the same thing. Usually I just give dryers the lint free upgrade only now so my sims don't die. :D - Beardedgeek725 years agoSeasoned AceThere are two reasons washing machines cannot be used:
1. You have a shelf over it
2. A bug that has never been fixed because the devs don't care. I mean we buy new packs anyway. - Sharooonia5 years agoSeasoned Ace

It's definitely a bug. It's been going on in my game for as long as I've been playing the game. It's a shame really cause I really enjoy laundry in the game for some weird reason. I hate it in real life though. :D - Beardedgeek725 years agoSeasoned Ace

There are several severe bugs introduced with the packs they came in that never have been fixed. Some just ignored, other outright stated on their bug report page "cannot be fixed". Not sure what's worse honestly.
