It's possible for sure! I have noticed a few odd "bugs" like this. Not really a bug but I'm not sure what else to call it haha. Best bet for when you are building is to as @RachelRosebud said to start a new game and then build. Just to make sure that you are starting with a clean fresh slate! Hope this helps for future builds!
