I've seen quite a bit of this in the gallery and its really sad when a stolen creation gets more likes or downloads than the original creator. Whenever I see something I like, I now check the original creator tag and download it from them instead. I came across one simmer who had a lot of downloads and likes, but not one single creation was their own. The really sad part about this is that the really good creators will stop sharing their creations on the gallery and some won't upload anywhere else.
I have a lot that I downloaded from the gallery and edited extensively, It now only has the basic shape of the original and I plan to upload it when I am happy with it, but I have clearly stated that its an edit of the original creators. I personally don't think this is a problem as I loved the exterior of the building, but I turned it from a house into a "hotel" and I have given credit to the creator, but I think it is morally wrong to just re-upload a lot with no editing and claim it as your own creation.
