I'm sure this is a much lesser consolation than credit, but people who 'steal' and upload other's creations typically aren't creators themselves. They're basically getting credit for their marketing, not their creativity. If you want to be recognized for your creativity, then produce. Think about music - cover bands are known for their covers - one-hit-wonders are known for their one hit - true artists are known for their volumes. In this genre where no money is involved, just keep making beautiful creations and the recognition will follow.
