This goes two ways for me. On the one hand, I spend, like so many other simmers, hours and hours of game-time trying to build a perfect house or the perfect sim and would likely be upset if someone was to claim my own work as their own. On the other hand, I have yet to experience anyone steal any of my sims or homes and say that they made them, but I think that if I did, I would be upset over it. To me, I make my sims because I think they're good characters. Shoot, half of my gallery consists of sims that I've made for other peoples games to begin with! I dont have any issues with people plucking my sims from the gallery and dropping them into their game for their own use.
I find it flattering if someone downloads my sims for their own game and loves them like I do.
But I think if someone claimed that they made the sim that I in fact made, I'd be a little miffed. Whether its EA property or not, that doesn't change the fact that someone who ISN'T EA is saying they created something that they didn't.
