I don't think I've ever uploaded a lot that someone else created and claimed it as my own. I did download one lot that had all perfect plants, but I made a bunch of changes (used a larger lot, added a restroom building and fishing pond, etc.) that I feel like I could count it as my own creation, but I still gave credit to the original creator for all the perfect plants. I did upload some of the original Sims 4 houses where I remodeled them to add basements (when basements got patched in) and some other features, but I haven't heard any "cease and desist" from EA so I guess that's okay. I've remodeled a few houses by other creators, mainly to add basements (I happen to love basements, so what?) or change a bedroom into a study, but I haven't uploaded any of those.
