True I had a few of my builds re-uploaded and even fav by maxis.
I honestly hope that I will not offend anyone by my next statement or encourage people to do what is referred to as thieving - and I purely speak 4 myself. :heart: when I say that I do not mind people using my builds and re-uploading them. By uploading I feel you give consent for them to use it anyway and the purpose of the upload is to get it downloaded. Once a build is up on the gallery I sort of see it as not belonging 2 me anymore. There is no way 2 stop this from happening and to blast "thief" all over people's accounts is sort of disrespectful because the original creator's name is most of the time still on the actual upload. :)
@SimGuruDrake and her team do their best to scan and prevent most of them but I think that there are issues much more pressing than this one.
I've always kept silent about my views on this topic but this is a good thread to give me the opportunity as a builder to express my view on it. I'm not saying anyone else's view is wrong - I'm referring here to my own builds and the re-uploading of them :heart:
