What are some creative ideas on dealing with a thief?

I have a sim who runs a store, and I noticed very quickly that something went missing. After finally figuring out who the culprit is, I have temporarily moved that sim in the household. Sure enough ...

Ask The Sims Studio to enable the “take back” feature that The Sims 2 had. When a Sim stole a gnome in that game, a Sim can autonomously go look for it. Then, it’ll be back in their inventory.

Pretty cool stuff. :)
