What are the seasons like in different worlds?

I kinda remember there being a thread about this but I can't find it. So I've read Oasis Spring never gets snow. Is this true? Does it ever go really cold though? Is it the only world with no snow?...

I haven't had the same thing happen in Brindleton Bay at all. Current forecast:

If I experience too much weather, I have my sim use the weather control device. I wonder if it matters how long your seasons are set to?
