What are the seasons like in different worlds?

I kinda remember there being a thread about this but I can't find it.

So I've read Oasis Spring never gets snow. Is this true? Does it ever go really cold though? Is it the only world with no snow?

What are the worlds like in weather and seasons? I've lived in Windenburg since Seasons and I know it gets really cold there and is cold and dark in general but it's very hot in summer.

  • @CrystalAbyss1 the left upper part of Oasis Springs is quie green though. I lived there before seasons and I never once felt like I lived in the desert.

New England has less rain than we do (average rainfall in new england is 16 inches in a year we get 38+ inches a year in WA) and does not have a thunderstorm every single day in summer. It's incredibly unrealistic and makes zero sense.

It can rain however much it wants to rain and still be "realistic" because no one ever claimed that it was an exact replica of another place. It's it's own place and it rains more than average there. I would actually want to live in Brindleton Bay over any of the other world's. I find rain beautiful. Also, stray animals walking around for me to help? Yes please! I only with that there was just an option to foster strays, like nurse them back to health and then adopt them out. That's something that I want to do in real life, so it would be really cool to see that in game.

In case it's helpful, there's a career mod to work part-time as something like an animal shelter volunteer.

Omgoodness I just had a thought....what if Brindleton Bay was in upper Canada along the Pacific but just flipped on the map? This would explain all the rain and wind. Western sides of a continent tend get more precipitation than the eastern sides (usually). This is how I'm going to justify Brindle Bay's weather now, lol

Can confirm. I'm from the west coast of a country, rain is super common here (as I've stated here before), but some people didn't want to believe me.
In fact, when my mom read the weather report for tomorrow and saw that it was actually going to be relatively mild with clear skies and not much wind at all for once, we were pretty surprised. Like.. huh? Actual good weather? Here??? What.

  • Thought I would share my series of seasons movies from different worlds. It's not only about weather though, also misc sceneries and seasonal activities.

Instead of spamming this thread with video links, you'll find all 8 of them listed in this thread :)

Also adding that in my game the weather is normally not the same two following years, it varies a lot within each world's climate, which I think is cool. Some winters there might be little snow. Some summers there might be just one hot day, etc. I'm playing with just 7 days per season though, might be less weather variation with longer periods.
