Reef Clean Up has begun. This was a bit easier this time. I guess practice makes perfect. I'm probably going to spend a little less time trying to create more complex scenes. However, I'm happy this didn't take me as long as other scenes in chapter 1 to create.
Arihi, Calum, Sarah, and Reef were the easiest to pose. I didn't have to do any camera tricks with them except Arihi and Reef. Worked out pretty good.
Arihi is magically lighting a lamp underwater. Calum and Sarah are clearing out the trash that's gathered. Reef is lifting a barrel half buried in the sand.
Not sure if the Merlings will appear during the clean up when I write the chapter, but the four of them are just hanging out. I don't think their parents want them getting hurt handling the pollution and such. The little guys will at least get a bit of a break if nothing else.
Kemps swimming with the barrel was the real challenge. There aren't any poses specifically designed for merfolk moving with large objects. I do think having him haul the barrel while kicking his tail on his backl was the best way to do it. Eventually I think I got it right. But more importantly, where is Alex swimming off to? 🤔
Poses used are from Spinning Plumbob's Expanded Mermaid Mod (Calum, Sarah, and Zephyr), Serenade of Shadows (Kemps), Sciophobis (Arihi), Surely-Sims (Dylan), Herecim (Alex), the poses for Reef, Lir, and Kylen came from places that I seemed to have lost the links to. I'll try to track them down to credit the creators, but for right now, the characters and the creators of the poses used by the characters are connected.
They are lovely photos of them doing the reef clean up ❤️It is a nice picture of the merlings enjoying having a break and resting.
