What Are Your Merfolk Doing Today 2.0

With the adjustments to the new forums, it was difficult for me to maintain this thread. However, I should have my main story thread set up enough to also be able to share things here too. I'm hoping to share Merfolk Related Chapter teasers and other things here. I think it was just taking me so long to finish transferring things. Throw in the craziness of life and well, stuff happens.

Moving forward, I'm hoping to be much more active sharing everything related to merfolk in their mermadic form here.

For the next chapter, I was working on Alex's transformation back into a merman.

Anyways, the challenge with this scene was to have a way for Alex to return to his merman form. It took me several tries redoing the dive into the ocean to get what I wanted. The Expanded Mermaids Mod from Spinning Plumbob has a Merform to Human form transformation and a forced Human form to Merform transformation. This scene isn't Alex getting too wet and reverting to his mermadic form, it's him simply returning to the sea and changing back into his true form. This wasn't as easy as it might appear. Anyways, I was able to get the exact moments I wanted to show him changing form. Regrettably, there are no animations or effects that show the change.

After exchanging his voice for the ability to take a human form. Alex is capable of doing what would be impossible for a reef merman. He can go on land and return to the sea at will. Only three Reef Merfolk and one Deep-Sea Merman are capable of doing this in my story. It's definitely a pretty unique ability within the Merfolk of the Sulani Seas Universe. The only denizens of the sea with the freedom to do this without the help of Sea Sorcery are the Mortal Halflings and Kelpies. Cursed Humans and Cursed Merfolk can go on land, but they are monstrous in appearance.
