I am thinking of getting Business & Hobbies (but I heard it had some bugs) for this pack so they can have an apothecary/herbalism/potions home business. I might wait to see if others have success with this, that already have that pack first.

HollownessDevour That's a great idea! I have Businesses And Hobbies, and haven't experienced any bugs. I am obsessed with the Small Business Residential Lots.

AgnesValravn The Rabbithole Inn sounds so cute! I haven't done this in all my saves yet, but since Businesses And Hobbies I've set up Sara Scott as the owner of the pub in Henford-on-Bagley. It makes me very happy.
This was my first thought when B&H was announced. Now I'm glad I waited so I can combine them all. I wanted to use a copy of the elixir shop from Sims 3. With living quarters upstairs.

Absolutely none. This is the first pack that I've felt I have no interest in. I'm not an occult player in general, if I were it would not be fairy gameplay that interested me, and this seems in both CAS and BB to be very focused on that aspect. The one thing I'd want from this pack would be living houseplants, but that one feature is not enough that I'll pay for the pack. With this, I'll doubt I'll even get it on sale.

I think I will play around with making some fairies first. I like the way the new world is. And, though I rarely play occults, I think I will add a fairy to my game.
Anyone's plans change after seeing the gameplay trailer?
I'm definitely going to start Julianna with the Elixir Enthusiast and then the Nature Nomad. Perhaps by the time I'm finished there'll be some nice fairy homes to download from the Gallery and I'll start Fairy Stories.

I think I am getting more sold on pairing with Island Living, the Natural Living Skill for playing a castaway for a non-magic use of this pack. Starting to wish we had zombies so we can do a zombie survival theme XD
For keeping with the magic theme, I might try a Practical Spellcaster with Apothecary skill, Neutral/Menacing Fairy and human (or werewolf) with Natural Living Skill household. Maybe even try cheats to give the fairy spellcaster mischief spells (see if it works).

simgirl1010 I don't download enough homes from the Gallery. That's such a great idea. (And I love a reno!)

I talked about her before, but I'll be playing my sim and her family.
Her name is Iris, and she's a mysterious sim who's secretly an incredibly powerful witch. She moves into town and uses her knowledge to help people with elixirs and potions. She begins a relationship with the King of Fae (a sim I'll create later, to test out the fairy life state), and have a son named Rowan. Her unique position will make her the only non-fairy to get involved with fairy affairs.
I didn't make Rowan yet, since the story hinges on him being born and raised in Innisgreen, and possibly being a fairy. But I made his future friends.
A sim he meets later in life. Kai is a mermaid immigrant who moves to Innisgreen to start a bar.
Harris will be another fairy and part of the Court of Fae. He's an orphan being raised by a member of the court. He ends up becoming Rowan's childhood friend and growing up alongside him. Here's him as an adult.
Aaaand here's Iris's house, which I'm still working on. I want to find out the lot sizes in the world before I fully finish it.
