Confession: always starting a legacy and never going through the 3rd generation - Playing the game like an RPG and wanting to max everything on every sim I create.
- Confession: I've never got a family past third gen, I get bored and start new saves. I also have ADHD, so this could be a contributing factor haha :D

Same!
My obsession is recreating houses from TV shows and stuff.
My confession is that I'm scared to reveal to people IRL how much I play this game...- GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned NewcomerConfessions... Well, they're weird. Consider yourselves warned!
- I have played TS4 for over 1,200 hours, more than any other game I ever owned.
- When I'm on vacation, at work or otherwise not at home, my sims are the thing I miss the most.
- I use the game as therapy, among other things, because my simself can live the life of my dreams that I'll never have.
- Besides my normal simself, I also have a male version of myself running around in the game to act out some of my secret fantasies.
- I sometimes make sims based on people I hate in real life just so I can torment and/or kill them horribly.
Obsessions:
- Creating new households. I come up with ideas all the time and then can't wait to play them out, but when I do, I quickly get bored and go back into CAS to make new people.
- Making sims based on characters from my novels, just so I can show them off to my friends and readers. I rarely actually play with them, but I like having them in the library.
- Chimneys. I put them in every one of my builds, usually under the TV in the living room, even though my sims never actually use them for anything other than improving their handiness.
- Worlds. I always take screenshots of all the worlds in my main save and later mark the buildings with the names of the families living there or, if it's a public lot, the name of the lot and what it is.
- The game as a whole. I can play for hours without ever noticing how time flies by, suddenly it's dark outside and I'm wondering where the day has gone. "GrumpyGlowfish;c-17075301" wrote:

What do you mean by this? Chimneys as in the thing that goes on the roof?"GrumpyGlowfish;c-17075301" wrote:
I use The Sims as therapy a lot as well. Going back a couple of months ago I had a really bad rough patch where the only thing keeping me from breaking down every three minutes was playing The Sims. There was even a point where I was playing for 25 hours straight, and I kid you not, the day after that I took my laptop on a long car trip where the destination was to pick up a Premium Edition of The Sims 4, including everything but the game.
I use the game as therapy, among other things, because my simself can live the life of my dreams that I'll never have.
