What are your top must have skills?
For me, its having at least 3 levels of Cooking (to avoid my sims from burning themselves to death at the stove) and handiness (to repair what breaks)

Cooking is the only one I consider a must have. I have one sim in each household work to build their skill as quickly as possible to get high quality meals that help to stack up good moodlets. The importance of the other skills varies based on the story at the time.🙂
