I don't have any careers I favour nor stay away from. I usually look at my sims personality, aspirations and degrees those are what I use to determine what their career path is going to be or not going to be.. For example, if my sim is a foodie and has skills in cooking and baking and they have the Master Chef ASpiration or a custom aspiration that the culinary career is best for them with I choose that career. Or if my sim is lazy I'm not going to put them in the althletic career. Other than that I don't have careers I avoid in general or favour it's determined truly by my sim.
