What Career(s) Do You Usually Go With, and What Are the Career(s) You Stay Away From?

I have stopped playing with the official careers and have only one sim working, because its way too easy to get rich in this game. The legacy I'm playing now has the matriarch working as an artist, but she has to sell her artwork via the streets or Plopsy, no direct clicking and selling. She did some odd jobs when starting out in order to pay for college, but after that she never did another odd job. Her daughter, 2nd generation, is working on the knitting skill and I plan to let her sell on Plopsy as a career to avoid becoming overly wealthy.
