What did you do with the Landgraabs?

I moved Johnny into the pool house that I built for him in the backyard of the Landgraab house. Also fixed it so he is back in the family tree, just to bother Nancy. He is not allowed in the main house though...lol. Other than that I just let them do their own thing.

I mostly ignore them, because the real Malcolm Landgraab is the suave developer from SimCity 3000, not these strange blonde people. Nancy is a favorite sim of mine to date, though.

I actively play the Landgraabs. A female character I play ended up hitting it off with Malcolm when she was in university. In my game thanks to neighborhood stories Nancy ended up getting pregnant with twins. Both Nancy and Geoffrey died of old age while the twins were teenagers. The girl twin ended up living with Malcolm and his wife and they raised her until she left for university. She is now a global superstar happily married to an engineer with twins of her own. Malcolm has 4 children with my original character. One was recently married and will start the next generation of the landgraab family soon.

The Landgraabs are one of my “protected townie” households in my game. I don’t really play them, but I limit what MCCC or Neighborhood Stories can do with them because I want them there for world building. They’ve had a new baby and have adopted a dog, but other than that, they’re in the background. I love when they randomly turn up doing something completely on point, like Geoffrey here, at the humor festival, trying to voodoo this poor, already deceased friend of Guidry’s.

I've now created a backstory for them that goes back to 1810.

I always cheat the household to make Johnny show up as Malcolm’s older brother in the family tree. Meanwhile Nancy definitely wears the pants in the relationship with Geoffrey, who would rather have a relationship with Johnny, and somewhat secretly does maintain a relationship. Both know the other works for the other team and pretends not to know in order to keep the peace. Nancy babies Malcolm and is grooming him to take over the family business. He is a spoiled mamas boy that gets into a lot of fights with his pushover father. When Nancy finds out that her frenemie Katrina’s now ex boyfriend Don has moved out, she demands Geoffrey install a pool, pool house and Don as the live in pool boy. They begin a love affair that Malcolm finds out about and tells Geoffrey to make him mad. Geoffrey takes it very hard and Nancy somehow convinces Geoffrey that it’s because he isn’t attentive enough and then convinces him to become a spy for her in order to prove his love. Bella has been hiding out in the caves below the mansion and is making a case against Nancy but Geoffrey throws her off the scent in exchange for Nancy kicking out Don. Little Malcolm ages up to be a kleptomaniac and thug just like his mother. He quickly overshadows and de thrones her, meeting and being wooed by a slightly older Nina caliente who immediately and mischievously demands they get married and move into the now vacant pool house much to Nancy’s chagrin. She hates her daughter in law as they are too similar and tries to make her life miserable. Nina doesn’t care because now she is rich and can get lots of massages and facials by the pool. She and Malcolm have two kids named Mimi and Dudley. They are brats who eventually do a stint partying it up in the city living in the landgraab apartment before Dudley returns home and buys the department retail store and carries on the land grab name.
