What did you do with the ship wreck lot on the island?

I made it into a park for sims in other worlds to have a bunch of activities to do on that island.

I haven't done anything with it yet, I really like the look of it but not the position. I need a research facility for conservationists, and it's taking up the most convenient lot, closest to the cave, central and accessible position, not right next to an active volcano.
I might move the shipwreck to the island and keep it as is.

I turned it into a café. I wanted to have a community lot where my conservationist - who lives in the Oha'lani neighbourhood - could fill her needs while doing her work.

That turned out to be a half-good, half-bad idea. Good because she can take breaks to eat, drink, socialise and have fun during her work hours. Bad because the café lot type, apparently, attracts sims from other worlds. I don't enjoy seeing the Goths, Langraabs and Calientes in Sulani! They only appear on that lot, thankfully.

as for my own marine biology lab, i'm building it on the nearby beach with the oceanic paradise trait. i'd prefer the lot to have a bit more water on it but want it on the volcano island, so that's the perfect spot for me. if i ever get around to completing it...

Aww I did not realize that about beach lots. Not everyone in the career is young and fit and everything you interact with is on the other side, so I didn't consider the tiny island before because they'd have to swim across all day. You're right though, it's the perfect spot.
I would love to see what you're doing with it too.

@kalaksed I put another mid sized luxury house there and put another Sulani family there.

Bulldozed it and put a luxury spa on it!

I tried the other lots but in the end, the shipwreck had to go. It is now Sulani Research Center.

I kept the landscaping because it's beautiful, and just put a box on top. Never said I was good at building.

It has food, a camp bed, safety showers for when you blow your test tube in your face, a meeting room to have meetings with no one, all sorts of technological equipment for ... surveying, and a fully contained fish room so you can stock all those undead fish you found in the sand, but don't suffer the putrid smell.


To atone, I will build another shipwreck somewhere else. Maybe on the island of Windenburg.
