what do you do with family "spares?"

My sims tend to have a lot of kids so once they age up to YA they move out.

They get moved out, sometimes as teens if the house is crowded and I don't want to wait for them to age up before getting the next generation started. I've a pair of spares in one game whom I barely play at all unless something needs to be done and they're the only ones not busy eating or sleeping or doing homework or something.

I do one of two things with my spare sims, I have lazy sims who don't work seeing as I have played for so long I have a large house a way too much cash. I am hoping superstars will take care of this. However here is what I do with my spare sims.

1. I make them work for me, they get up make me food put in the fridge, and I just eat the leftovers. They clean, wash the clothes, but mostly they sit down all day and wright books. They can get two to three done in a day. If you have three sims doing this your house brings in like $75k a day.

2. This is what i mostly do I make a MCC out you go house. It is a small house, with just three bedrooms two bathrooms, and a kitten. What I do then is when my house gets full I do a "reset" I pick the youngest sim in the house, have her call one of the sims from the out you go house, and become friends with them. Then I ask to move in, but put all my unwanted sims in that house. And have MCC take care of them, it's rather funny to see them move out get married, have kids of their own, die what not. By the time my house gets too full again, the out you go house is almost empty and can fit a few more roomates.

I'm in this predicament right now.
I like all of them however with the announcement of the new EP I am going to play as the eldest daughter of the youngest sibling from my previous generation, she has the perfect mentality to want to become rich and famous, she comes from a wealthy family.

My other Sims had to grind for their wealth and I just see them as more down to earth with modest jobs/lives and they just won't fit with this pack and the story I have created for them.

I have MCCC can someone please elaborate on how to let MCCC take over their lives for me? I don't particularly want to keep going back to them.

I tend to move them out into a small home and let MCCC manage them from there, unless they are a particularly loved sim. I did have one once who stayed single for so long, I went into his house and gave him a perfect wife because I felt sorry for him lol. I also moved in the daughter he'd had with a married sim randomly through MCCC. But usually I don't interfere beyond that. I just like having the option to invite them over for family events etc, and to see how their lives change once they move out of the family home.

I move them out and mark them as unplayed, I focus on just one household, but I invite them to Birthday parties and such and greet thier spouses so they can come as well, in my current household, I got the two of the three brothers I started with Married, one to Don Lothrio and one to Cassandra Goth....used MCCC command center to age her up

I don't really have any because I play rotational and just have the grown kids move out & work them in with their own stories. It's no sim left behind in my world!

I play semi-rotationally; when I feel I'm at a good stopping point with one family, I'll switch to one of my others. If I don't really feel a connection to a Sim I'll move them out and leave them to the vagaries of MCCC. In my Main Save I've got Selena O'Dourke (daughter of my Sims Liam and Cali), her wife Michaela (nee Munch), her eldest twin Nicky (she had twins with Father Winter -- call them an extra Winterfest gift), and her adopted son Gage. Second family is Nicky's brother Kris, who just married a townie (she was the librarian in Windeburg) and he may end up going back into the music career when Get Famous releases. Finally the third family is Selena and Michaela's daughter Kayley (I created her in CAS using both mothers' DNA) who married Castor Cline (product of alien abduction) and just had her first daughter, Stella.

If I don't feel much of an attachment to a Sim offspring, I'll move them out and let MCCC sort them out. One of my moved out Sims is married to a male townie and is living in a San Myshuno apartment, the other married a Sim I imported from another save and has a couple of kids in Oasis Springs.

I don't have MCC, so I do this:

I stagger the ages of my sims; so they date and mess around when they are Young adults and have children when they are Adults. This usually means the parents pass away sometime when the oldest is a teen or just turning into a Young adult. I keep all the siblings living together (and dating with careers) until my heir is ready to settle down. Then I marry off all the kids, even the "spares". I marry the "spares" off first just in case there's not enough space in the house for all their spouses and move each new couple out into their own home.

Around the time my heir is ready to have children, I pop into each of the sibling's houses first and make them Try for a Baby with their spouse, so that my next generation can have some cousins. But I only conceive, leaving shortly after to allow the game to take care of naming and traiting. Then, I return to my main family and start having kids. (Well, I usually do the siblings first, but sometimes I pop in and add a second addition on the way to the siblings if I get fed up dealing with my main's crying bassinet baby xD)

After that, I let the game name, age, trait, dress, and the cousins.

I play on Long Lifespan, so that's probably how I have the time to do all of this. Also, I tend to have no more than three children. Always between 1-3.

I play with them in a rotation. I want them to grow old together with their other siblings... and I want to see... how big the family can be.. Will they populate the whole neighbourhood or the Sim's nation?
