- ChampandGirlie5 years agoSeasoned AceIf I pay attention to them or am in the mood, I give them makeovers.
- sno_19985 years agoSeasoned VeteranI mostly ignore them, but townies I like might end up in my families or become friends. If someone ends up in my family he or she gets a makeover of course, if a friend gets one depends on how 'weird' he or she is dressed.
- Bearpal645 years agoSeasoned AceSometimes I keep/marry them if I see potential. Sometimes I just tweak them a bit like change wacky clothes/remove accessories.
Most of the time though I just mass delete them lol. ? - ldm25 years agoSeasoned AceI evict them from their homes, but leave them in the game. They're basically background/employees. I've tried playing a couple of them before, but still prefer my own sims.
- For me i mainly ignore them but if they start to annoy me or get in the way i delete them. Though my friend @orenjiAi has recently built this to deal with them :joy:
- I do a mix of stuff with them. I normally ignore most of them but my sims end up interacting with a few of them (neighbors, lovers, just friends, besties, etc.). I only delete the ones that don't live in houses that my sims don't know and that I don't plan on making them meet since I don't want my save to get laggy with them. (Like single, childless elders that don't live in a house most often since they can't breed and have no use basically since I feel it's weird for my younger sims to befriend elders but also sometimes adults or young adults in that category as well.) I do keep the ones living in the houses since my sims can have neighbors, but I might evict them if they're living in a house that I built/placed down or that was a premade one that I liked. I definitely keep families, though. Families usually have kids that my sim kids can be friends with (and find a potential lover from?)
If I feel like it, I just combine them into the same household since I feel like separate households is just too many households. I only kill sims for stories and such, or if it's for testing mods. As for makeovers, I only give them makeovers if they join the household or are important sims to me. I might change the facial/body shape if they're planning on having children with my sim since I don't want to get ugly children, haha. Otherwise, I don't care how ugly they are. :D
Basically, I just let the townies spawn since I usually manage to find a use for them in the end in all stories, regular relaxing saves and challenges. :) - I ignore them. If they happen to become friends or lovers of my sims then I deem them Important and give them a makeover. I won't ever start playing their households though.
The most acknowledgement they get in my game is if I'm playing through the serial romantic aspiration and need a million SOs...because I don't want to homewreck the families I care about? - I usually have my Sims befriend them when working on the Friend of the World aspiration. :)
- I have 300 playable sims in my save file. I delete randoms every sims week. I call it clearing the trash. I really want to be able to give playables an npc jobs. Is there a mod for that? There probably is,..
