What do you expect 2019 to be?

I'd be surprised if we didn't get University (or a more general education) pack next year.

Since you said Want and not expect so:

1: "Get to Building" - An expansion focusing on build mode. With terrain tools now available, this expansion adds a new architecture/builder/Interior Decorator career. It also gives us: new stairs (Spiral, L shaped, U shaped with landings), elevators, ramps, more pool options (diving boards, slides, etc), Cieling options, lots more landscaping options, etc.

1b: Decorator stuff - A stuff pack with slightly recolored versions of the building stuff that's been in the game since launch, with some new kitchen cabinets, couches, porches, etc. Some CAS items: hard hats, safety vests, overalls, work boots.
(unless they're giving up on stuff packs, then it might be a game pack with the builder/architect/Interior designer careers)

2: " Get Educated" - The over speculated University expansion. I won't belabor

3: "Making Music" = A game pack that introduces: bands, drums, performance stages, amplifiers, a new Rapping skill, etc. Adds several new skills, and a few flavors of a new build item "the stage". With the stage your band can: perform "sets" (selected through the new band system), Rap (and rap battle), actors can put on stage plays, singers can sing, comedians can do their routines, etc. This will tie into the fame system (if you have the get famous expansion expansion).
This pack also introduces a new band system similar to the club system. Where members skill up collectively and can take gigs, choose advancements, and select performance tracks. This pack will also introduce the "R&B" radio station. Also allows non band members to become "fans".

I'd love to see the entire year be just dedicated to occults but I know that won't happen. :(

I personally like to see an expansion of something never been done in the Sims
I like idea of an Education pack - with different types of schooling not just university. alternative schools, homeschooling, maybe even boarding schools etc.

I think we'll get University, and I hope they do a Tropical EP, with beaches, tanning, swimmable oceans, and maybe surfing.

I think 2019 is going to have some interesting packs. Packs we probably have never seen or have had in a sims game.

A side from University and an obvious magic pack we might finally see a Farming EP or a Hobbies/Sports EP or a more hands on Vacation pack geared towards family vacation and honey moons. There has been a long time since we got a fully fledged lifestate. I know there were skeletons but they aren't permanent, just a curse or a summon.

An education themed expansion pack, it doesn't have to be specifically university.
And a witches/magic themed game pack. Given what was crammed into the vampires pack, I can see the potential for something pretty good.
I seriously thought that an education themed ep would what we'd get soon.

Personally, I'm hoping for a bands themed stuff pack, assuming get famous doesn't contain drums and bands. That is, if they don't just add them as a nice little freebie, as an apology for not adding them sooner.


We already have a tropical travel game pack, (Jungle Adventures), so what I'd rather see, is an alpine travel game pack. With the addition of building hills on lots, skiing, and snowboarding become greater possibilities.

But my top preference for a travel pack is...
A Gothic seaside holiday and creepy carnival
Goths need somewhere to holiday, somewhere not hot, not tropical, and not sunny, but with a beach, so they can be happily miserable when it's cold and rainy.

Sorry, @Movotti , i meant Beach Vacation Spot, not Tropical in Selvadoradian sense. hahaha And, i have to say that i will always be in love with yout Creepy and Gothic Seaside Holiday idea. I hope they add that, would be a dream come true.
A alpine travel game pack would be amazing... Something like a colder and snowy Island Paradise... Hot Chocolate, Yetis/Big Foot, more snow interactions to expand Seasons (not sure how people would react to that, but for sure the snow part should be exclusive to the packs world, only snowing in the other worlds if we had Seasons)... I would love it.

@stilljustme2 i LOVE THE "Get to School" idea i have been seeing peopel talking about for ages, but i would rather have the Universities just like we always had, and another pack for the other educational phases. Also, i love when they add something "generations". Much of the Generations stuff we had in Sism 3 about school could be added in the Universities pack, and then expanded in a pack for younger sims school life.

I also want those. Dont care if they didnt came in Get Famous, i can understand that, but i would be really sad if Sims 5 released adn we didnt had Bands and Modeling career. Would be cool if our sims could be actual designers, not that influencer career, which is cool, but kinda shallow.

@jcp011c2 i would be happy if it was Farminf EP, but i hope we get to see a Hobbies EP in the future. Also, i think we are going to get at least one SP, they are not done with them, for sure.

@ajmstilt want... expect... whatever you would be happy to talk about. I would love a "Get to Building". Maybe a Realtor Career, trying to convince other families to buy a house (an alternative to placing families from the town management, like the style influencer is an alternative to on giving make overs). An architect career... something like house flipper also. Would be cool if we could work as plumber...

What I would want it to be...

1. Highschool - We need a way to follow our teens with daily school activities and after school with things like football cheerleading and school plays(if Get Famous gives us a rabbit hole drama club for teens and children)
2. Tropical Vacation - ocean swimming, surfing, beach volleyball, tanning, lounge chairs, sandcastles
Game Packs
3. On the Road
4. Romance, Slow dancing, turn on turn offs, bed cuddling, better romance interactions... content we will never get without a pack like this

5. Teen Stuff
6. Preteen Stuff - Patch me in some preteens
