- icemanfreshSeasoned NewcomerI'm following the TS canon, so I'm the Watcher
- MrGiggleTickleSeasoned NewcomerClearly by the fact that my Sims are doing much better than.....most people in life every generation I'd say I'm their Inferior.
- wildirishbansheeRising NoviceGoddess or Watcher usually. And I'm a good one usually!
- Storyteller. I've never viewed being a simmer as anything like playing as a godly being, master, creator...maybe because I'm religious so I just intuitively steered clear of that, just so that I would not cross a line of mockery (not a judgment, just an explanation). I'm attached to them in that I find it difficult to kill Sims and have only done it a handful of times, for storytelling purposes. Like writing, but with Sims. But I'm not attached in a deeply personal way, I guess you could say.
- LaBlue0314Rising ScoutI never view myself as their whatever you want to call it, but rather living through their lives, but only when my own gets either dull or those time I just want to get through whatever is being a big stink at the moment. Don't have time or money in real life to head off to some foreign land - just send my sim off to do it. Winter and it's nearly 30 below, in real life - just send my sims out to enjoy their summertime fun. I still can't believe it got that cold.

I agree with everything you said here except that I haven't really thought of myself as a Storyteller either. I mean I do but I've never given myself the title hahaha! I haven't really thought about it before I guess. Before reading your posts and when I first saw the question though I was going to say narrator haha! But since I'm not really just reading it out I'm creating the story I think your term of Storyteller would work better.- GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned NewcomerI never really thought about it, but... I guess a fitting term for me would be something along the lines of "parent". I look after my sims, try to help them become successful in life, and when they don't do what I tell them or get on my nerves too much, I punish them.
- NetzspannungSeasoned NewcomerI guess I see myself as their "good fortune" because they do a lot better with my interference than they would do without.
- I'm just a benevolent presence.
- Probably the writer. I tend to refer to them as my characters and think about them the same way I do the characters in my novels and short stories.
Under no circumstances will I let their lives be easy. ^_^
