I think that they are trying to detail certain things individually so that it doesn’t look bad or too “loose”. I never played the sims 3, but from what I have seen of it. It looked plastic, and low quality to me, but idk I never played it just saw trailers. The future of sims 4 may bring more promising features. Plus! There is still a lot we don't know. GC’s only had an hour.
Ok weird response. So do you agree this is a watered down version of that EP or not? Not talking about the entire game here buddy. Sims 3 has a lot more depth than the trailers show, unlike 4 where what you see is what you get (and these days that’s not even true.. look at SV trailer and the end of the latest trailer. That’s not actual gameplay it’s wholly staged).
I’ve been giving this team the benefit of the doubt for years and they have consistently proven to do the bare minimum for the things they add to the game. If you’re excited for the future good for you, but this team has a 5 year track record of doing the bare minimum and acting like they’re doing the world a favor about it. Doesn’t really matter how long they had with the pack, none of their packs require hours upon hours to get the basic experience. They’re all sectioned off and separate it makes focusing on the new stuff so much easier.
Sorry if I phrased it weird. I believe the sims team is taking apart packs so they can focus on specifics. Like how hotels wasn’t included. It may be a game pack later. So, they either focus in on things or just use the additional payment for profit. I can’t talk much about game creating or say That you are wrong, but all I can really say is that for most of them it’s all about profit. I just hope they will learn from it, and make content that feels full, and not watered down. I hope that made sense. If not, ignore me and pray for my ability to communicate. ?
