What do you think or do if your Sim suddenly flirts with someone that you don't like?

I don't take idle flirting too seriously since it happens so often and indiscriminately but I like to leave it up to chance who my sims end up with. Any time I've tried to plan out romances the sims quickly end up having better chemistry with exactly the opposite of the person I wanted. I'm not too controlling of who they choose as long as it's entertaining, hideous goblins included. But it does bother me when I find my already married sims with random crushes.

Somewhere along the line the developers must have increased the autonomy for flirting. Or has it always been so aggressive? I need to look deeper into MCCC or something to stop this because it's getting a little out of hand in my game. I think there has always been autonomy to flirt, even when you aren’t playing the sim. When I first started playing sims 4, about 3 mos. After it first came out, I had this married couple that went to a movie theatre in my game, they cuddled and kissed in the theatre and all of a sudden this female sim came over and slapped the male sim. I was shocked, and was wondering, “why did she do that?” I took a look at my male sims relationships and saw that he had a pink line with another sim, the one that slapped him… lol. So autonomous flirting has been around awhile, because I had no idea he had even been flirting with other sims.

I don’t normally like my sim flirting with sims I don’t want them to. I pretty well micro manage my sims, but, I play rotationally, and sometimes it will happen when I ‘m not playing them, or if I am managing another sim and don’t catch it. An occasional flirt doesn’t upset me greatly, and there are a few sims, my serial romantics, uncommital sims, and single sims I haven’t picked a permanent partner for, that don’t bother me when they flirt autonomously. But, my married sims, and partnered sims I don’t like doing it autonomously….. if I want them to flirt with someone other than their partner, I want to control it.

Usually, I'm playing with a large family, my Sim is living with his/her spouse, parents in law and spouse's siblings.
(EA please give us more worlds...)
Therefore, I don't want to see the father in law flirting with the daughter in law, or my college student Sim attracted by her elder sister's husband...
