- handelgamer5 years agoSeasoned AceYou don't need them to make some of the City Living added foods but they do lower the cost, like all fresh ingredients. And yeah, they are used in the City Living dishes. Just go out and enjoy, and learn, some street food!
- elliebreton5 years agoLegendLol, I once bought some spices and could never figure out what to do with them! They did not appear to get 'used up' and I could find no recipes that asked for them. Though I didn't know how to cook any of the CL recipes at the time - do they actually mention spices for those recipes? Do you have to put them in the fridge or do they get used from inventory?
- crocobaura5 years agoLegendI use them as decoration for the kitchen.
- DaWaterRat5 years agoSeasoned AceYeah, I tend to use them as counter decoration too, but they do lower the cost of most of the recipes you can learn from the spice festival if you have the right one. I've never looked to see if it was a one and done thing, and if so if the cost-benefit was enough to justify using it.

Hehe, so do I :) I never even realized I could use them for cooking... They look good on the counter or on a shelf, though :) - mikamakimon5 years agoSeasoned AceI never thought of using these as decorations, lol! They either stay in my sim's inventory or they can be stored in the fridge. I just like the idea of using actual ingredients when preparing dishes so I buy the spices for the appropriate dishes whenever I can. The spices do get used up eventually, but I haven't paid close enough attention to notice how long before they run out.
- SimsBarbie5 years agoSeasoned AceI put them in my sim's fridge for the dish that asks for it. I won't have my sim make food unless they have the proper ingredients.
