I'm curious what does your Newcrest look like? This is mine, and since we got Newcrest, I've really struggled with what to do with the Ridgeline Drive neighborhood. I'm really happy with the rest of the world, but I just can't decide what to do with that part.Most of my lots are from Jenba-Sims and I've changed them up to fit my Sims, but she did this neighborhood in a Victorian style, but I only like a couple of the lots. She also had a school/library lot on the 40x30 that I moved over to the Llama Lagoon neighborhood, because I plan on using the retail store she built for that area in another world. I'm curious: do you keep this area purely residential, mixed residential/commercial, or commercial only? And what style are your lots? The other houses in the neighborhood are based on Craftsman (my favorite) or Colonial homes.These are the two lots of hers from this neighborhood that I like, for a couple of the 30x20 lots: Bricktorian #1 and Valeski House Shell.I think her Bricktorian would make for a good live-in business, possibly (I was thinking of basing a Spellcaster/Paranormal Investigator out of it or possibly a Stylist), but as for the other three lots: I'm just not sure.

My Newcrest is a mix of commercial and residential. The Llama lagoon neighborhood contains a library, a vet clinic, a upscale diner-style restaurant, one residential lot and a Lounge. The residential lot is home to the Feng family, settled by one of the children of Victor and Lily Feng from San Myshuno. They own the adjacent Brewpub (restaurant).The Bridgeview neighborhood contains two Tiny-Living residential homes, a dog park, a community center (which is now a Marketplace) and a neighborhood bar. And Ridgeline Drive rounds it out as a purely residential neighborhood.I have not played sims that live in Newcrest in this game, but the Fengs in Llama Lagoon and the Summerdream family on Ridgeline drive are "ancestral" family lines which I have protected from culling in My Households (and which are flagged as ancestral with MCCC so that they always retain a family lineage at that property location).My ultimate goal is to have one played sim household in each world, but I'm adding played sims over time as it feels natural (and played households have multiple children), so I'm not there yet at 3 (into 4) generations in for this save game.The architecture is primarily a mix of Modern and New Traditional Craftsman with some Victorian elements on a few homes, but overall it's a blend, like most of the places I've lived. I don’t upload pictures, but here is what I haveIn the row of 5 you have open, I have what looks like a TALL CATHOLiC CHURCH in the middle lot with benches and statues from Romantic garden out back. I hope it is big enough to add the walkway for bride and groom to walk down as I have had it several years, and like itOn both side of the church I have a BROWNSTONE DUPLEX on each each side ( they are the same Duplex ) of the church.On both ends I have nice HOUSES2. In the neighborhood where your park is I have:a PARK exactly where yours is, with a pool, and some other things for parks, with an outdoor bar.Where your library is, I have a YACHT in water ( RESIDENTIAL ), parked next to a promenade type of walkway with tree’s.Where your bar is, I have a 3 story NIGHT CLUB with a lounge, DJ mixer, several tables and a couple of buffet tables, hot tub, pool, some fancy bathrooms, and out side a marriage arch with seats.Where you Restaurant is I have a Village RETAIL with a mini park in back, this Retail is not all indoors, so I am thinking of replacing it with something else because it is so cold. I am thinking of putting a community center there.Where your lounge is I had an outdoor lounge, but I put that in OS because it gets too cold in Newcrest, So it is currently OPEN3. In the back neighborhood, what’re you have houses I have a SPA on the left.Next to the spa I have an Indoor MOVIE THEATRE ( I can’t remember what it is labeled ), might be labeled a bar.Next to the movie theatre ( across the street ) where you have a retail store, I have a RETAIL grocery store/Bakery.The 2 small back lots I have 2, 3 story Buildings, one is an OFFICE BUiLDING/CAFE and the other one is a 3 story apartment building ( an apartment on each floor ) that is RESIDENTIAL.

If you don't feel like building or downloading buildings from the gallery, you can use the shell buildings you find among the live edit objects as NPC homes. That way the families you put in those lots will have houses. I personally like the apartment buildings for NPCs, as I can stick them in those without consideration for families, and stuff them full with 8 sims per lot.

This version of Newcrest is in my Under The Tartosan Sun Story. With Liberty in the secret agent career I wanted a place where I could stage some live action work scenes, basically office work and meetings. I couldn't make up my mind where to place the headquarters, then I got a vision of the Newcrest skyline and I knew I had my spot. Here is the result. Weirdly, I have move in enabled in NS and still nobody has moved into Newcrest other than my sim I placed there. S.I.M.S. director Shantel Bridges, who lives in Stately Southern Beauty, is the only resident of Newcrest. All of the lots in this build are gallery items.
