What ever happened here?

Genetics in this game are weird for sure. I've had sims that come out looking exactly like their parents, or get weird features that their parents don't have. There are certain features that seem to be more dominant, but I haven't figured out to what extent. For example, my legacy founder married Knox Greenburg, who has weirdly tiny eyes. All of their children ended up with weird tiny eyes. I ended up editing them because they just looked too weird. However, only one of the children got Knox's nose, the rest have their mom's. I've given up on trying to figure out how genetics work in this game.
