What exactly is 'Generations'?
I keep seeing people post about wanting generations and that it's being hinted at in a future pack, but no one is explaining what it is. Anyone want to tell me?

Wow, thanks for all the info. So there is a lot more to it than just a 'family' pack. Interesting. I was a part of Sims 3 life but I was a late bloomer to it and really didn't have many of the packs. At first I was thinking from the descriptions that Generations was a lot like Parenthood, but there is a lot more to it.
