When have bugs ever stopped players from asking for more content, or share their ideas and wishes for a game they enjoy. I see this all the time on this forum: generations, themed worlds, occults, Sims 5, etc... so why not this?
Instead of fixing the gardening bug, maybe another overhaul is in order. Gardening has been hit and miss for me, and I was never sure if it started with seasons or the first overhaul. Sometimes gardening worked, sometimes not. The first time I encountered the bug, I got so frustrated with it that I abandoned an entire save. I didn't touch gardening againfor some time afterwards. Thankfully, it seems to be working again for me in my current save.
