- Can we FIRST fix the gardening thing??? before we ask for more?? jeezus. You guys are unbelievable.
- Most of it, but horses, nectar making (TS3 style with mixing fruits), body hair, and durable-looking clothes would be the top.
Edit: and, yes, lots large enough for a real farm, so bring on the 64x64s. - mikamakimon4 years agoNew Spectator

When have bugs ever stopped players from asking for more content, or share their ideas and wishes for a game they enjoy. I see this all the time on this forum: generations, themed worlds, occults, Sims 5, etc... so why not this?
Instead of fixing the gardening bug, maybe another overhaul is in order. Gardening has been hit and miss for me, and I was never sure if it started with seasons or the first overhaul. Sometimes gardening worked, sometimes not. The first time I encountered the bug, I got so frustrated with it that I abandoned an entire save. I didn't touch gardening againfor some time afterwards. Thankfully, it seems to be working again for me in my current save. - All of the above really. I like the idea of creating a homestead type home, and I think farming for me enhances the idae of off the grid type living. So it's less about farming itself, but more about a cosy country world, where my sims can live and grow their own food etc. I also loved the cows and getting milk, eggs from chickens etc from TS3 - because we were able to make things using the produce. So if we made jam, we could then use it as food to spread on bread/toast - which added that next level of gameplay.
And I miss Apaloosa plains - man I loved that world! - Beardedgeek724 years agoNew SpectatorI think the only way I would be interested in a farming pack is if they actually dared to implement an actual butchery, or at least making it clear that the animals you raise will be meat.
Otherwise it's just Animal Crossing with less cute characters; if you don't want to actually live the life of a farmer, why wish for a "farming" pack?
Edit: Also, to be nitpicking: In the English language a "Farm" and "Farming" is only the meat, egg or dairy options. Everything else on that list is "Agriculture" which is NOT the same as "Farming". Farming is specifically the raising and slaughtering / milking of animals. A Vineyard is NOT a farm and has nothing to do with farming. Nor does wheat fields, carrots or apple orchards. - LiELF4 years agoSeasoned AceSeriously, why haven't we been able to have pet Llamas in The Sims? Llamas and pink bunnies!

There's a reason they are pink and called Freezer Bunnies. - Ancaryvan4 years agoSeasoned NewcomerRice Farming and you can tame Ox as good helping family member. Didn't you know Ox is a good companion with rice farmer.
- bshag4lv4 years agoSeasoned AdventurerLol, all of them please.
Why couldn't Maxis put out an ep that takes place in the Old West (please refer to the thread above) and you can have farms with crops or ranches with animal husbandry, sort of, sims' style. I think that would be much fun! - janyses4 years agoNew ObserverRaising livestock won the Twitter poll, so I would expect that much at least.
