When I first played the Sims (holla Sims 1 days) I would focus on the children or have a single female sim become a career woman.
Sims 2 I used to start with a single Sim and a toddler (either gender combinations) and work from there.
Sims 4 I’ve taken more of a focus to the female Sims, predominantly due to the fact I love their clothing options/style variations a lot more and I’m not one to load up on CC... but I have had several male Sim focuses in some play throughs.
I’m trying more now that I am getting back into playing a bit more frequently into challenging my common conventions with careers/gender/dynamics so anything goes really now!
