It's been a crazy day and a strange weekend with the way this cold played with my head. I do appreciate the get well wishes. I am much better than I was yesterday, and wayyy better than Friday. I gave everyone an awesome and I'll have comments in the morning before work. But before I call it a night, I want to introduce you to two new sims who will be appearing here and on AHQ periodically in a story called Aurora and Piccolo. It's not really a story, nothing like Under The Tartosa Sun or Schemes and Dreams. It'll just be some screenshots with a few words to describe what happened in Aurora's voice. So here is the prologue of sorts....
Hi. My name is Aurora Westbrook.

I'm a painter, a photographer, and an adventurer. I love to travel and see the world and capture those beautiful places I visit with my camera or my paintbrush.

I was lucky enough to land two lucrative freelance gigs that gave me enough money to get started on this adventure until hopefully my paintings and photos will be able to pay the bills. I just returned to my childhood home town of Chestnut Ridge. That's where you'll find me and my best friend and travel companion when we aren't out seeing the world.

Who's my best friend? That would be her, Piccolo. My loyal Bernese companion.

We'll check in now and then and fill you in on all the things happening to us at home and on the road. Until then, love more!

The plan for this save is to have her travel through all the little nooks and crannies throughout all of the worlds and have her paint and photograph cool scenes. In between I'll have interact with the locals doing all kinds of things, both in Chestnut Ridge and in the bigger Simsverse. I'll take couple of the pictures that she creates and include them in the updates along with some of the cool, funny, and downright bizarre interactions. All with sweet lovable Piccolo at her side. Put a few other screenshots together and write some captions in her voice and done. No plots, sub-plots, and storylines, no massive cast of characters either. Just them. It's easy to put together and gives me something to do to relax and avoid burning out again.
