What happened to Mila Munch's children's father?

I'm interested to see how many Simmers believe certain theories. I personally believe he's possibly deceased or abandoned his family, because the children do look like they are biological brothers and...

Interesting thread...... I always wondered who Jacques wife was and who Mila’s Husband was. I figured they put the two families in the game so that Jacques and Milia would get together. I like the idea of the sailor that abandoned the family..... or maybe he was lost at sea! Now, how about the wife of Jacques? What happened to her? Died in childbirth of Max?
