What happened to your Willow Creek?

Mine is alive and well. I love WC, one of my favorites as well. Mostly I took out all the venues and replaced them with restaurants, gym and spa.

Nothing really... I don't think I have played Willow Creek for months. I prefer the newer neighbourhoods. I have given it half a makeover though, I've placed some new lots from the gallery which took my fancy. I think I've also moved in a few families too.

My main household actually lives in the Sage Estates neighborhood next door to the Spencer-Kim-Lewis family :)

I'm in the process of rebuilding the houses but I've taken all the community lots out and made it all residential. I see Newcrest as the commercial area of Willow Creek so I've added a spa, restaurant, and bowling alley there. I currently just use the community lots from the other worlds until I get round to rebuilding some of my own. But it might take a while as I only build when I'm in a building mood.

All the townies died out long ago in my save so I've moved in new townies to the houses I've built/added from the gallery. I added large suburban ones to where the bar/gym etc used to be and they look good there. Haven't yet played a household that lives there yet though!

I love Willow Creek 100x more than Oasis Springs. In fact, my sims never visit there unless they have to for the detective career. I agree, it looks great with seasons, I especially love it in Autumn when it's rainy.

Edit: I also use the WC park as my 'main' park. I've renovated it and added things from all the packs e.g. toddler stuff, pet bowls & training equipment, yoga mats, basketball, swings etc. It's great to have it all in one place and that park is for sure my favourite in the game.

Oh man, Willow Creek. It's the world I'm playing the least in. I currently have one family living there and the only thing I changed about the world so far is bulldozing the museum and placing an Asian themed restaurant in its place. Willow Creek's backdrops have a really weird look to me and I can't bring myself to placing anything else there, as I get triggered when the playable areas don't match with the backdrops. It's the same with Newcrest, as the backdrops there are nearly the same as Willow Creek's.

So far I've mostly just added a restaurant & spa, and some swings & a toddler tunnel to the park. Since starting my seasons save, I've been working the families in one by one, and I plan to put the next family there, but right now no one's living there.

So cool that we all do different changes. There must be a million unique WCs out there! :)

@elanorbreton Loved the scout camp added! I wanted to have a scout club, but it was too much hassle with the uniform so I created a kid's nature club instead who will mainly visit Granite Falls. Might adjust that later though :)

I have 2 housolds living there which I often visit and play. Also I regularly go with Sims from other worlds to my favorite bar which I very nice decorated. I don't know the english name but in German it's "zum blauen Samt" :)
