What happens after you become Chief of Police? And Other Gameplay Questions
The new video looks AWESOME!
I have a couple gameplay related questions:
Will sims to have to quit their professions due to "game over"? What happens after your sim becomes Chief of Police (I just realised the acronym for that is "cop" :joy:) Can you still have interesting adventures, or will your sim show up and there is nothing to do? I'm asking because I never finished playing WA (which was a ton of fun), but I heard from a lot of players that after one sim completes WA, then no other sim can do it.
Also, is it possible to avoid promotion? If you just want a couple playables to be normal beat cops and not detectives can you still go to work and not worry about getting a demotion? Or are you automatically promoted for completing goals and demoted for not doing them?
Also, what happens if you have several sims in the police profession? They can't all be chief of police, right?
Also, like in TS2 where sims in the same careers would fraternise will this be the same for TS4? Will those sims that you are not playing be at work if their jobs are the same (for continuity)?
@SimGuruLyndsay or @SimGuruBChick - I am at work during the ask a guru chat, so I will never be able to ask these questions there. I do read that section, so could you post my questions on the thread or perhaps provide some gameplay mechanics here when you have time?
Careers are a large part of my sim stories, and I am so excited about the upcoming EP. Next up the Town Hall GP?! (wishful thinking )
