What Have They Done To Babies?

I'm getting this too. In the crib the baby is dark brown and when you hold him he's white. Also, the icon at the bottom of the game window where it shows your sims household shows a picture of the baby's legs and feet instead of his cute little face.

Yes, it's a bug that came with the last patch, i think. It only affects the "profile" pic, not the actual baby nor the toddler-to-be.

The icon issue is a glitch, and don't worry, it'll go away once your babies age into toddlers. A little annoying, but I'm sure it'll be patched pretty soon.

I haven't seen anything about the bassinet or onesie issues, though, that's strange. I've never been able to change the color of a crib before once a baby was inside it, as far as I remember. Could it be a mod causing conflict?

Oh, well, that's a new one. The icon of the baby in my game is Black, wherein, his parents are both white.

All the babies in my game have this issue.

Is this only with new saves or old saves as well? My babies icons are as they were born.

You could try and delete the localthumbcache package then reload your game and see if that helps.
I did it once when I forgot to delete the background with one of my outfits and my baby was bright green all over LOL

Is this a custom crib, I have heard that this happens to cribs from before nifty knitting for some reason.

I have just tested it and deleted one type of thumbnail folder/package at a time to see if it changes when I change an outfit in game.
I corrected my first post now with the correct package to delete in your electronics arts/the sims 4 folder. It is the localthumbcache package you need to delete to refresh all your little icons for babies and sims. Here In this screenie I was testing a new outfit and after deleting the localthumbcache the babies reflect wearing that outfit. So hopefully that will fix all your babies little icons :)
