In keeping with Amber's excentricity I'm making her backyard into an enchanted forest with a pond, greenscreens and acting spots whenever she has money to spend.Armand Diaggro - Snob, Materialistic, Romantic (or similar traits)Him I usually cheat rich and put into the Knights of the Hedge or any Gentlemen's clubs I create. In my current save he is only a minor character, saved as a favorite, but not played (yet).June KayFor some reason the crazy woodworking gal always ends up in a police or social worker position. She remains a background player most of the time, but I'd miss her if she weren't around. In my current save she is in the police career and appears at the station for some of my police sims. Since I have two clubs for police members that often go on outings, Kay is good friends with many of my played sims. Maybe I'll move her in with Daniel, the police station's janitor (and leader of the first police club). He is currently in a relationship, but it seems to be a short-lived one.From City Living:Danny Sino-MillerAnother typical candidate for police officer/social worker. He became the first babydaddy in a recreation of my favorite Sims 2 legacy, but later ended up with Morgan Fyres. In my current save he is an annoyance who has red relationship bars with many of my played sims. I consider having him join the Renegades, although that would go against my concept of Danny as a street-raised, but non-criminal person.Jordan MayerJust like the ones before: I want her around, but she usually stays a townie. Her part in the story is often that of a journalist or diplomat.Jordan became playable briefly when I played the Christmas Challenge. She saved Windenburg's festival and reformed two criminals - not bad for a townie! Also she is my OTP for Danny.From Get together:Portia Colch - Romantic, Non-commital, Klepto, Ambitious, Materialistic (or similar traits)She appeared in the trailers as a member of the Good Timers and was never uploaded by Maxis. The recreation I use is either by VampiresTeeth or iamkerri. (I can never remember which of the two made Portia and Brandon and who made Carlos).Portia is a small-scale criminal and accomplice of Jacques Villareal's. In some saves she is his ex and mother of one or more of his children. Sometimes I reunite them, but in any case they are always close. Portia is fun to play, she works hard and parties hard, doing nothing by halves. In a way she is Mia Munch's evil twin and I'm very happy that the two befriended each other in my current save just from being together at venues. Maybe this time around I will pair them up. Brandon Colch - Hates Children, Active, Loves the Outdoors, Geek, Lazy (or similar traits)Portia's son and a member of the Renegades. Sometimes he is also Jacque's son or at least step-son, but there is also always some sort of rivalry between those two. I picture Brandon as the Renegades' jack of all trades and generally a bland face in the crowd. His military pants and cap could mean that he is interested in that career or just a poser. Before we had the military career I headcanoned Brandon as a closeted space enthusiast - he is actually real good at crafting and also intelligent, but hides it from his friends for fear of being bullied. As a teen and young adult Brandon is under the influence of Jacques and like most of his friends works for him as a criminal. But if I play the Renegades as adults (I usually do not, my saves are short lived) Brandon makes his dream of going to space true. One time he married an alien, gave her triplets and was abducted right after the birth (the extended family wanting to say "Hi!").Carlos Patel - Romantic, Active, Mean, GeniusAnother Renegade, but unlike the rest he is of age already. He wears a dogtag-like pendant, therefore I headcanon him as being interested in that career or having worked as a career soldier or mercenary at some part of his life. It depends on what YA means in that save, since he can be anything from 18 to 30 sometimes I give him a longer backstory. In the first save I used him in I even declared him Brandon's father (I didn't use Portia in that one).Carlos is the most level-headed and least eccentric of the Renegades. He has a very good grasp of tactics, sometimes he is also interested in studying medicine (because the white coat gets all the girls!).In my current save Carlos had a short fling with Summer Holiday, left her pregnant and fled to Strangerville to join the army. He was one of nine sims involved in solving the mystery. Ultimately I might give him to Morgan Fyres again, except if she prefers Max. We'll see.From parenthood:Lori KeyeIn the first stream she was called Mia McNally and that's the name I gave her back. I'm not interest in playing Mia's family, so I normally stuff her together with June, Carlos and Neal into a lot with other teens and call it a living community for troubled teens. Danny is their supervisor and the lot stays unplayed until I move the inhabitants in with other sims.Anyway, Mia has good chemistry with Brandon Colch, Neal Peterson and Max Villareal, so she usually stays in Windenburg.In my current game original Mia is just another Renegade, but she has at one point of the story sold her image for use in a series of nanny androids. I have one of those in a household in San Myshuno. Her name is Lori Thornton, she is a young adult and one of my favorite sims. Lori excels at parenting, comedy and charisma, she is also a gamer, Mrs. Thornton's manager and she has worked for the police briefly. On top of it Lori is well liked in the city. If Mia ever comes to San Myshuno she's in for a shock B) Or rather, the people there are in for a shock when they meet troublesome Mia after having known only Lori.Neal PetersonNeal I wish I would remember more often. I liked him in the trailer, but somehow I always overlook/forget him in my saves. No wonder he is always sad! Just like Mia, he currently is just another Renegade.

@EnkiSchmidt That's so cool! I remember when i played with Amber/Armand/June...There was the Arrival household. 5 friends who were looking for 1 more to help pay the bills. Raj Khemlani was engaged to Kalista Kalid, but then a new girl moved in their house: Babs L'Amour. Raj and Babs started cheating on Kalista, but one day she caught them on act, she gave Raj his engagement ring, but not before beating him up, she became enemies with both, and the rest of the household agreed that they needed to move out. Olivia Stewart and Moose Dubros became such good friends that when they started dating, it felt so natural...Babs and Raj were living in a new house after that, one day the Welcome Wagon showed up and Bjorn Tu'Rock was in it. Babs couldn't resist him, everything happened all over again. Raj had what he deserved: karma. Babs and Bjorn started dating, but then he meet Armand and karma knocked on Babs door. After him she achieved her aspiration, and then meet Ollie Purdue, they married and had the 3 kids they have in the "Outdoor Retreat" trailer.Armand and Bjorn married. Amber is Armand best friend, she was dating Sean Sullivan. Unexpectedly she became pregnant, she was so happy that she prepared a super romantic diner with Sean, and to tell him she was pregnant, she asked him to be her husband. BUT, he was a jerk... Noncommittal sim that he is, he rejected her. They broke up, and he was such a bad father...June i didn't play much, but she never had a real job. She used to do woodworking, sell her stuff, but if i kept playing with her i would have bought a store for her. She was lesbian.

At the moment I haven't done much with them, but they have gotten some makeovers, I'll put pictures of them in the Spoiler, so they won't show unless you want to see them. I have others, but these are a few of my favorites. I don't use them myself, though I have MCCC that has a feature that will take sims from your library and repopulate the world with them so I have them wandering around from time to time.

I played the purdue as my first family ever. Ollie married an asian painting collector and had lots of children. Cassie got an affair with Lothario, then met Armando, a gentleman's bodybuilder, they had three sons and built their home with their own hands. Then, the game crashed and bugs appeared and I deleted the save.I tried playing the other premades but was annoyed to not have their names or traits, so I hunted them down on the gallery, but eventually gave up.I stll want to rewatch all the trailers and play them. I'd like nice and tidy family package delivered by ea, just like we used to have in sims bins. Also, I'm always undecided where to move them... It annoys me. :D

I downloaded most of them and have them in a save with aging turned off, I do makeovers on them from time to time, which is why some of them look a bit different. They are in large unplayed households so they show up as service sims sometimes.

Has anyone noticed that they just uploaded the Smith Family?! Until this thread I didn't know that Maxis recreated TS2 families apart from the ones already placed, and now they've uploaded my favourite one!

@Hejix I would prefer as well if they added the trailer premades to our gallery as well, like the base game did with some of them. Sims 2 they used to do that, but never more since sims 3.

@LaBlue0314 They are all looking so cute, love what you did to Armand. So stylish!

@LindsaySeddon The sims 2 premades are being added to the gallery every friday. Some of them are not 100%, but i am loving all of them!

She's probably my favorite promotional sim after Carlos and Brandon and I love seeing makeovers of her. Back then her trailer was universally hated and I'm no exception there. Still don't like the trailer, but love Amber!

I have those costumes saved as "hot weather wear". Because I do not have Seasons the sims can only wear them when I tell them to, never accidently. Amber also has the celeb perk where she can use any costume.

I love Jordan's style in the promo screenshots. The outfit she's wearing there is saved as her athletic wear in the gallery, but I usually make it her primary one again. This is a rare picture where she wears something different.

I downloaded the ones I liked (City Living and Parenthood) and placed them in random empty lots to be my sims friends and neighbors.

@calaprfy Some of them come in your private gallery, but some you have to look in the official Maxis account as well as some can be found in some of the guru's accounts.

@Hejix I just checked the link, it seems that most of them are there, not sure if all of them, though...
