I love the platforms in the game. I am working on a build with a sunken dining room and a sunken living room the bathtubs are on platforms and the bed in the master ensuite has the bed on a platform. Since all, I have been doing is building with the updates. I haven't had a chance to see how broken occults are in this game. I wish we could colour the sides of or platforms. I'm just happy I have them. It's the only way I can do a sort of split level for my sims hone. If anybody who plays occults has news on how unplayable this patch has made then please let me know. I had my game crash a few times playing vanilla. I removed my localthumbcache, I removed my mods folder I ended up unistalling and reinstalling the game because it wasn't loading a vanilla game. Yes, you can get last exceptions with playing vanilla. Which according to my Sims 4 folder I have a few of them. Usually when I do a test game it lasts a few weeks because I'm confident to reinstall mods slowly. Whhat does everyone else like and dislike about the Upadate?

I think the Sentiments are really cute. There seem to be good variety of them too. I'm looking forward to exploring them more.I don't think they fixed some of things they claimed they fixed. Restaurants are still running horribly. Townies are still out on the streets looking like they got dressed in the dark.I haven't had any crashes yet, but the sims are standing around doing nothing a lot. Game seems like it's running slower. I got a couple last exceptions, and I also keep getting a message saying build mode items are missing?

My sims are standing around idle more than usual.Children and teens are going to school wearing nightwear.Sims keep choosing to cook new meals instead of eating leftovers. Sentiments are lacking in some circumstances. This doesn’t mean I don’t like them. Just that they can be improved.Nothing to major for me but enough to annoy me. At the moment I don’t feel like I can really complain. At least my game is working without crashes.

You can also put up a half wall of the same height against the platform, then color it. The lowest height will allow you to step up to the platform.

Sentiments are going great so far too. I had been worried that they would all be negative, but the ones I've had in the game have actually been really sweet.

I haven't really played around too much with the platforms but I love that we have them. You can recolor your platforms. There is a tab that has platform trims or you can also use a half-wall around them and make them match your wallpapers.

I haven't done much with the new update overall, but I do like what I have played around with or what I've seen from other simmers.

I love the way my sims are interacting now. The sentiments are really nice. I was experimenting with the platforms and the half walls and found them to be quite interesting options. The rental property option is also awesome. My city sims can take a break and go to the beach on vacation now!

I didn't realize that there were problems in restaurants and with Occult sims. I mostly play spellcasters and usually only have my sims go to the restaurants I built so maybe that is why I haven't seen those issues.

I haven't yet built with the platforms but i am looking forward to using them in my sims home once she earns money as I like to play rags to riches.

I did have a couple issues since the patch one my game crashed which is really strange as my game never crashes i did have mods in but turned off since patch so after the crash I moved my mods out and it didn't crash again after that so hopefully *fingers crossed* it was just a mod issue.

and I noticed an issue with the digital sketch pad I had my sim buy one but she painted 3 painting's on it and got nothing. So I figure it's glitched and wanted to sell it back but it's resell value was 0 simoleons and I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue? Needless to say I cheated money to my sim and gave her a full refund for both the sketchpad and the 3 painting's she never got.

What I like : Now worlds with Green Eco Footprint will stay that way for good.

What I don't like: This patch is bundle with SE stuff, making it look better than it actually is.

I have noticed that the round platforms don't work very well. However, I do like being able to slightly raise/lower any room & still have a very tall foundation at the same time.
I'm also glad that the platforms & sentiments are in the Base & not locked into the new Snowy Escape game. :)
