I've had crashing once, but a bigger problem for me is with the mysterious pink dot. Many times when I tried to have a Sim do an odd job or travel, I instead got a persistent pink dot in the middle of the screen, like this:

I would get the Pink Dot of Doom to go away by entering build mode and then returning to live mode, but it would reappear when I again tried to do the odd job or travel, unless I closed out the game and restarted it.
