- If weather was confined to just one world or they tried to chop the seasons up into different GP's, I wouldn't be getting it. Sorry. That would be the absolute worst idea in the history of bad ideas. Even a 12-year-old wouldn't fall for that crap...especially if they got into this series with TS4, but started looking on wikis and fan sites for hints and tips and ended up archive binging and learning all about the usual packs that are added to these games and what to generally expect from them...and especially if said 12-year-old has limited pocket money and only ever can get packs at all on sale because their parents either don't make a ton of money or are extremely cheap. A 12-year-old would likely even warn any friends they have who also play the game not to waste their money buying the seasons separately or buying a "Seasons" pack that's restricted to just one world because EA is pulling another Battlefront II-esque scam since "Seasons" is usually save-wide and all in one package, so they're better off getting some fake precipitation CC and calling it a day. They'd even pull out their pocket computers and show their friends the web pages to prove it. And, yep, those 12-year-olds would have the same reaction as adults would...outrage and disgust (probably even more so since kids generally have even less spending money than adults). (Kids are smarter than most adults give them credit for.)
Really, the only chopping up of this pack I would accept is if the addition of rainy and cloudy weather was available as an optional free download like the Holiday pack. Otherwise, just put everything together as always and I'll buy it when I buy it. - Absolutely not. Why should I spend my money on something that would make fun of me? I am an adult, I work and I could afford the purchase of separate packages for each season. But I would not do it on principle, even if they gave them for a low price.
If they did something like that they would have closed permanently with me. In addition, I expect that season will bring some of the things proposed with surveys like sims capable of controlling the weather or with capacities related to the 4 seasons. - What's the point of having seasons if the rest of the world is going to be in eternal summer?

Right, but would you buy a bigger pack (EP) where the seasons are confined into one world and existing worlds would not have snow, rain etc.?- MidnightAura86New SpectatorAbsolutely not. And while I can already hear the excuses “By separating them, we can really focus in on each individual season and make it the best version ever” (and no doubt some people would accept it) no, no no and no!
But to be fair I’m fairly certain one of the gurus said a season per world they didn’t think they would do and I hope they don’t. It’s bad enough the crumbs we are getting with bowling being a separate activity, laundry being a separate pack the first pets expansion EVER to just feature cats and dogs (no doubt small pets are coming in a separate sp or gp)
If seasons was divided up and sold off per season that would be the ultimate slap in the face. But you know they will only do it and get away with it if the Sims community allows it. - What I find even more disturbing is that this is something that I could see happen.
- icemanfreshSeasoned NewcomerOh jeez, some of the previous decisions to separate content could be justified (just like vampires), but this would be too obvious of a cash grab.
- Didn't vote. I would like these seasons to correlate to the "climate" of the worlds. Brindleton bay probably would get heaps and heaps of snow, Oasis Springs wouldn't get much besides heat waves. I imagine SM as being hot and WC/NC/MP get rain. WB would probably get rain as well. FH would get lots of thunderstorms and GF would probably get it all.
- Is this poll purely hypothetical or based on founded suspicions?

What you're after, then, is a toggle, an option, a choice!
