WOW! I never knew they could look so good!- Kita53997 years agoSeasoned AceI play on Ultra, here are a couple pics from my game.

- Lustianicia7 years agoSeasoned AceWhenever I play a simulation game, I want the graphics to appear as realistic as possible... anything less isn't acceptable.
I remember when I first got Sims 2... my PC was completely incapable of playing the game on settings any higher than the lowest possible... and the game STILL lagged terribly. I mean, this was back in 2005... lol But when I finally got a PC that could handle it, I was so happy! The same happened with Sims 3. - ADashofAsh907 years agoSeasoned AceTechnically Ultra :)

Ultra but no uncompressed sim textures. Causes lag (really good card and more memory than sims will ever need but oh well) and it makes such a tiny difference anyway. It couldn’t go back to the low/medium settings I used to have back a few months ago. I’m spoiled now.
what does the uncompressed texture do? I am new to messing with the graphics.
It makes the sims look a little smoother. Their skin looks real clear and smooth with it on. It isn’t necessary but if you play on ultra it’s worth a shot to see if you can use the setting. It just makes mine lag and I’ve read other simmers have lag with it. I have a high end gaming desktop so the lag is a bit silly on any setting. - Suziish7 years agoSeasoned AceMost of my screenshots lately have been of my decorating. Here's a few that I did get...

Adding this one, too, cause it's one of my favorite screenshots. I love catching sims making funny faces...

My game looks great on the screen, but I'm often disappointed with the screenshots. What looked vibrant in the screen suddenly looks as if from another game. Here's one of my earliest screenies taken with the ultra settings:

I think this one looks good, but other pictures not so much; especially those taken with camera man mode (tab key) often blur. - JanuaryGarnet087 years agoSeasoned AceUltra, ever since I got my new rig last year. I love it.
