- Sigzy_29New SpectatorI'd say the base game is still missing:
Graveyards
Funerals
Sim biographies
Curved pools
Ceiling tiles/paint
Cars
Story Progression
Firemen
Burglars
Lounge chairs
Doorbells
Body Hair
Piercings
A much needed trait/personality update
Detached babies from bassinets - 1. Meaningful interactions between the babies and the other sims. Maybe give me a reason to not want to age them up just as soon as they pop out the womb.
2. More interactive water-related items and areas. It's very weird to me that a "free" game like the Sims Freeplay has features such as interactive pool slides, floats, and pool parks that a paid game like the Sims 4 does not offer.
3. Speaking of the Sims Freeplay, there are quite a few features I am really surprised did not make it to TS4 especially considering this game launched before TS4 and was more similar to TS4 in graphics and gameplay than the other sims games. Such as SPIRAL STAIRS, and just different stair build shapes in general (L shaped, Curved). The pets in this free to play game were actually much more interactive and fun but I won't get into that as its not base game technically.
4. More CAS features and options. I wish the CAS was more customizable especially in terms of the facial area. Why isn't there a tool that allows for me (like it does with cats/dogs) to paint on certain aspects and features, such as freckles for example? Not everyone has the classic and stereotypical Marilyn Monroe beauty mark above their lip or to the side of their eye. Why can't I "paint" on these features by hand and truly customize my sims facial and bodily appearance? Why do I have to download sliders to get a realistic hip and breast shape? That seems odd to me.
These few things to say the least. I am sure there are many more that will come to mind later. - Karamazov123Seasoned HotshotMost of my main points have been mentioned, but three glaring omissions forever haunt me: body hair, briefs (tighty whities), and individual sim biographies. The latter is especially glaring, because these helped establish a pre-made Sim's personality and story in the game. Right now, a whole family has to share a tiny household description box, which can't even have proper paragraphs.

Nothing. Nothing was missing in the first place.
What about pools? - A good attraction system, better family relationship metrics, newspapers and magazines, hobbies, private school and home school options, cars, more lots, ability to customize neighborhood names...and the gypsy matchmaker. This is my wish list. Oh, more careers, too...just the rabbit hole variety. And meaningful chance cards.
- open world
create a world
create a style
story progression
proper baby life stage
proper teen life stage
burglar npc
fireman npc
trash compactor
house phone
newspaper
grocery shopping
cars
bikes
garages
paper boy/girl - Most of mine have been mentioned in one form or another but I'll throw them in for my two cents worth anyway:
More activities and quality of life stuff for elders. I hate that they eat, sleep, die.
Spiral Staircases!
Witches
Burglars and firemen
Trash Compactors
More Selvadorada style vacation spots (I mean, vacation spots with actual things to do. OR was terrible because you could do everything there was to do there, anyplace else and be less bored.)
Imaginary Friends. I know they are controversial because as many people find them creepy as people who love them. I loved them and their dumb little walks :)
Private Investigator job- I'd just love to do it. I think it'd be fun. - Sigzy_29New Spectator

Open World is never coming for TS4. The game wasn't designed for it. - CrystalCoverNew Spectator> @Sigzy05 said:

Thx for reminding :( - LiELFSeasoned AceA Fear emotion. Sims have no fears at all and it makes zero sense.
Traits that affect behaviors and aren't overridden by emotions so that Sims have unique personalities.
The default happy state changed to fine so Sims don't have a constant permagrin.
Adjustments and additions to animations that reflect the Sims' true moods. For example, enemies being angry at each other, not smiling and hugging.
Likes, dislikes and attraction. It seems like anything goes with every Sim and their behaviors are bland without flaws and turnoffs. - LadyKynSeasoned ScoutFor me its definitely the staple NPC's since the first sims is like the burglar, police and fire fighter.
