What is the most expensive object on the game so far?

The $15000 violin is the first thing that came to mind

The suit of armor in decorations I think is either $12,000 or $8,000-cant remember which.

And the Schnapple fridge and oven. They go for a good bit I think.

I think there is a double bed which costs 12,000 Simeleon or so.

I was going to say the suit of armor, too. I know in playing Pinstar's Legacy Challenge, that the Founder had to purchase that to help bring down the amount of Simoleons they start off with, after the purchase of the then largest lot available.

I've played a retail shop for awhile and noticed that NCp/Townie Sims don't always buy the most expensive things. Sometimes quantity is better than quality. ;)

That being said, it you only want to sell the most expensive things, then just sell the most expensive couch, fridge, chair, stove, painting(s), etc...

EDIT: What I mean is no one was buying anything when I had only the most expensive stuff up for sale. As soon as I put in a variety then they started buying the low to mid-grade items and finally occasionally a high price item.

I have a bookstore in my game. It amused me, that the more expensive books, the university books, are my bestsellers and they are often bought by children. Obviously I have ambitious little children.

The top three most expensive objects in TS4 is:

1. Out of This World Desktop - 15100 (unlocks at Level 10 of the scientist career)
2. Virtuoso Violin - 15000
3. Schmapple Fridge - 14000
