What is the reliable way to start a fire in community lot
For obvious reasons I want to see firefighters. Firework used to work 100% but it doesn’t seem to start a fire anymore when set off indoor. Any idea ?

- I don't think they can start on community lots.
I've used a mod that increases fire intensity that included a file to allow fires on community lots. - Witchcraft. It has worked ever since The Sims 3.
- If you have ROM you can cast a spell to start a fire, or at this point just use the toilet and a fire will start. You can also just call the firefighters through the phone even if there isn't a fire, sadly no punishment for prank calling though they just stand there doing nothing until you send them away.

You can get fined §500. Not always, but sometimes.
