What is the tiny yellow moon(?) symbol on calendar?

Since the forced patching I'm seeing a small glowing yellow round symbol on the calendar icon in the main UI. I click it to check, but I find nothing special in there and don't really see what the yel...

I also have that yellow dot on my calendar. I don't have the high school pack. The only reason why I have the high school patch is because origin forced the patch. Why is this bothering people who don't have high school? It is very irritating, though not as game breaking as the fears.
