What is with the reputation system?
When my sim had built up a good reputation, it seemed to make sense...went up and down a bit, nothing crazy, his actions and rep more or less matched. But due to a run in with Diego Lobo, my sim developed a bad reputation. That was fine too, fun for a bit, had it maxed out. But unlike losing good rep, it's near impossible to climb back out of it! Every day my sim has been volunteering, using the pr agency for good stories, donating money when he can, etc. But there are so many stupid ways to lose rep again. Finally had it down to neutral and within three days it shot all the way back to awful. And that was from other sims actions. I'd use the cheerful introduction, and instead of getting a big green start, I'd get a tiny one, and his bad rep would go up by half a section. Why am I losing rep if I do a friendly introduction? Sims would call me and tell me they heard I was being bad, and down it would go again. So I'm nice to a sim and for some reason they don't like it, and I lose twice as much rep as I gained by spending three hours at a nursing home? I suppose if I donated a kidney, that wouldn't make up for saying hi to someone? I constantly see red minus rep symbols while my sim is doing nothing wrong; having a bad rep shouldn't mean you get MORE bad rep automatically.
