It's hard to tell dramatic stories. I'd like to sometimes have a breakup so bad it fractures the friend-group and family in a way which takes time to repair (or leads to a long grudge), but interpersonal conflict is quite limited.
(I guess my real gripe is that everything is focussed on meeting goals and succeeding - which of course makes sense for a game, but it means there's not much variety in tone. Playing The Sims can make me happy or frustrated, but it never really makes me feel the other emotions that could come with a doll's house like this.
