I really love the gardener career, it’s the one I probably use the most. Gardening is one of my favourite aspects of the game, I’ve got a lot of gardeners in my legacy!

I also really like the culinary, actor and Island Living conservation careers, although I’ve never actually played that career in full. I also like to make a ‘career’ out of anything that involves selling items, like selling juice or collectibles at a vendors stall.

I love them all, but especially Get to Work careers. I don't play them more often than other careers though. It's completely up to Sims which career suits them best. My all time favorite career is probably the scientist.

I prefer the Freelance careers because usually my Sims are playing out a story that doesn’t involve daily work/career goals. I like the variety we have with Freelance careers these days.

I think I don't really have a favourite career. I just try to pick the one/ones that my sim would like. Yet if I had to say one I'd probably say the author branch of the writer career, because I like to come up with book titles and little descriptions for my sims' books. Not all my writer sims are on the writer career though, and the most successful one of them is a self-employed poet.
  • I really want to try the style influencer career again. I must not have leveled it up enough in the past to unlock townie makeovers. Is it just their makeup or can you also choose new hair and clothes?

@haisin I write poetry in real life so I love being able to create a poet in the game too.
  • Actor first, scientist second. I love all the things my scientist can do with her inventions that I did not expect. But I love watching the acting scenes more.

I don't think any non-active careers are unique enough for me to have a preference. My sims just go to work and come home, and the big difference is what skills they have to work on for promotions.
  • Education, Business, Military. I also love all of the part-time options, because they leave a lot of time for other things in my Sim's life.

I really enjoy the stylist career. It was so interactive for not having to go to a lot for work. Seeing sims wear clothing trends you design popping up on male/females and being able to offer make overs. Works even better with GF. It's like the most interactive career for the base game we have.

And then my other is the Freelancing career.

@Elliandre Yes, you can change everything except genetics. You can give them tattoos too. And you don't even have to know the townie to do this and can just give the makeover without introducing yourself first. You can't give makeovers to kids though.
  • Freelancing, definitely. Then work from home rabbithole careers. Then rabbithole careers. Somewhere down at the very bottom is active careers, because I'm not a huge fan. My sims just juggle too much for me to focus on one all day.
