Surprise, surprise.... xD Aliens are cool, mermaids are alright I guess. Ghosts annoy me, but could've been interesting if they were playable, as they were in TS3. Anyway, vampires easily win since they don't have to go to the bathroom all the time, they can stay awake for a long time before they need rest (even without the dark meditation, going to miss that function), and you don't have to worry about another vampire sneaking in at night to snack on you.

I love all things supernatural, but vampires are always going to be my favourite. I've always been particularly drawn to vampires in fiction so I admit I am biased, but I also feel vampires in TS4 are really well done. I just love how versatile and detailed they are. The only thing missing for me other than vampire hunters is werewolves. My vampire needs a pet - ahem, I mean rival.

Vampire offer the best gameplay but I was never a fan of undead occult. Vampires and zombies were the only ones I actively avoided in previous iterations. So if they can do this to an occult I dislike, I really hope realm of magic will give the this kind of VIP to an occult I actually like.

So for now aliens are still my favourite.

Vampires are my favorite, in spite of Maxis not being able to fix all of the glitches. Aliens are fine when I play them. I have no interest in playing Ghosts or Mermaids.

I like the mermaids, but vampires have goals.

I can't say I care much for the aliens; never really enjoyed foreign food. Seafood is a delicacy I will engage in on occasion. Ghosts? Well, there's just nothing there.

Mermaids are my all time favorite fantasy creature, but they are just not as fleshed out as vampires. Gotta give credit where it's due.
